This alluring human skull has a wonderful overall appearance. The bone is very dense throughout, giving this piece some hefty weight. The orbits and nasal cavity are extremely well-preserved. Almost all of the dentition is missing, some of which was lost ante-mortem and some post-mortem. The calvarium is cut and secured with pins and hooks, while the mandible is articulated on springs. This specimen would be perfect for anatomical study or artistic inspiration.
